Hilton & Moss attend Goodwood Revival 2025
There is one event we at Hilton & Moss look forward to above all others each year, and that is the Glorious Goodwood Revival. A true celebration of motorsport heritage, Revival brings together legendary cars, iconic drivers and an atmosphere that transports you straight back to the golden era of racing.
This year was no exception. The team donned their finest 1950s attire, braved the ever-changing British weather with wellies in hand and made their way down to the world’s most celebrated classic car festival. But this year’s event was made even more special by a unique honour: Hilton & Moss was invited to bring along one of the jewels of our collection, a 1960 Mercedes-Benz W198 300SL Roadster.
Our 300SL Roadster wasn’t just on static display either. Goodwood requested it for an incredibly prestigious role, to serve as an official course car throughout the Revival weekend. After each race, the car headed out onto the circuit to inspect the track, checking for debris, oil spills, or hazards, and ensuring conditions were safe and ready for the next grid of competitors. Seeing such an iconic Mercedes-Benz out on track in this role was a true highlight and a reminder of just how timeless these cars are, still serving motorsport over six decades after they first left the factory.
But the 300SL wasn’t our only car at Revival this year. We were also proud to provide support for a very special 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia 101 Spider Veloce, which took part in the Celebration of Alfa Romeo Parade. The parade marked Alfa Romeo’s remarkable motorsport history, with a stunning line-up of the marque’s most celebrated models gracing the Goodwood Circuit in front of packed grandstands. Our Spider looked right at home amongst the Italian legends, a car that embodies both elegance and performance from Alfa’s golden age.
Goodwood Revival is always more than just racing. It’s about the people, the passion and the preservation of motoring history. To see our cars not only admired by thousands of enthusiasts but also actively participating in such prestigious roles was an incredible honour for our team.
