The foundation was chosen carefully. A genuine, matching numbers UK supplied RHD 3.8 litre XK150S Fixed Head Coupe, the crowning achievement in the XK lineage. As the final evolution before the revolutionary E-Type arrived, the XK150S represented Jaguar’s most refined, robust and reliable sports cars. The perfect canvas for creating the ultimate high-speed vintage touring machine. 

The initial build specification reads like a dream: 

• Wide Angle D-Type cylinder head with DC03 sandcast Weber Carburettors (recently upgraded with cutting-edge Jenvey triple fuel injection system) 

• Custom-Made Aluminium Air-Box 

• D-Type Camshafts, Forged Pistons, Custom Connecting Rods and a D-Type Polished Crankshaft  

• Lightened Flywheel and Clutch mated to a JD Sport 5-Speed Gearbox

• AP Racing Vented Front Disc Brakes with Uprated Brake Servo

Born on 17th May 1960 and dispatched just ten days later on the 27th, this XK150S represents the pinnacle of an era. As a final-year example, it benefits from the legendary 3.8-litre DOHC straight-six engine with triple SU carburettors,  virtually identical to the E-Type powerplant. This makes it among the most coveted XK150 models ever produced. 

Over two decades since its transformation, this stunning example remains in outstanding condition, a testament to the quality of its restoration and the care from its custodians. With modern conveniences like air conditioning, power steering, and fuel injection seamlessly integrated, it offers an intoxicating blend of vintage drama and contemporary usability.
