Introduced as a limited, high-specification version of the Evora, the Sports Racer was designed to offer the ultimate expression of the model’s road-going capability. Lotus combined the car’s renowned chassis balance with a comprehensive list of desirable equipment and distinctive styling enhancements, creating a variant that is as visually dramatic as it is rewarding to drive, paving the way for the later versions that were to follow.

At its heart lies the proven 3.5-litre V6 Toyota engine, presented in naturally aspirated form producing 276bhp. Power is delivered through the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The Evora’s lightweight construction and beautifully tuned chassis ensure exceptional steering feel, remarkable agility, and the kind of driver connection that has long defined the Lotus marque.

The Sports Racer edition was available in a selection of bolder colours that included Ardent Red, Aspen White, Carbon Grey and Nightfall Blue, with each featuring a contrasting gloss black roof, front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, mirror caps and alloy wheels creating a purposeful and contemporary aesthetic. Forged alloy wheels further reinforce the car’s sporting intent.

Inside, the cabin blends sporting character with improved comfort and equipment. The interior features premium leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, giving the cockpit a refined yet focused feel. The Sports Racer model was also specified with a generous array of features as standard, including a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, parking sensors and upgraded audio, making the Evora a far more usable proposition for everyday driving or long-distance touring.

This particular Sports Racer, first delivered in March 2013 by Bell & Colvill, has since covered just 29,500 miles with only two owners in its 13-year life and as such presents in a great condition throughout. Finished in the elegant shade of Nightfall Blue, this Sports Racer is just one of 24 UK delivered naturally aspirated cars produced, as confirmed by the cars accompanying Certificate of Provenance. Of those 24, just four were finished in Nightfall Blue. The interior is finished in Ebony Black leather, with red seat piping and contrast stitch, alongside Slate Grey SuedeTex trim and features 2+2 seating. 

Presenting in great condition today, the car benefits from recent comprehensive servicing and maintenance, most recently in April 2026 by Lotus specialist PJS Sports Cars. A recent MOT, with no advisories, has also been completed ensuring that this Evora is ready for immediate enjoyment by its next custodian. For additional peace of mind, the car will be supplied with a 12-month warranty upon sale.
