Building on the VH platform that Aston Martin had already established with the DB9, DBS and earlier V8 Vantage, a decision was made to squeeze their V12 package into the compact chassis to create a powerful, engaging grand tourer. Now with a 565bhp power output from the 5.9 litre engine, the car came alive for a totally renewed experience.
In perhaps one of the most well-known and emotive short films by Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson simply states, 'It is fantastic. It's wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!' Saying little more about the car itself, the film lets the cinematography and the V12 sound track do all of the talking. It was clear, even then, that the V12 Vantage was something special.
This Aston Martin is a very late, last of the line, 2018 model finished in the elegant shade of Onyx Black over a Lords Red leather interior with matching stitch. The exterior is complimented with a full carbon fibre pack including the front splitter, front grille, bonnet vents, side strakes, wing mirrors, tail light inserts and rear diffuser. Perfect condition gloss black, diamond cut wheels and clear tail lights complete the styling.
The all-leather interior is finished with a carbon fibre central 'ski slope' that houses the facelift switch panel and media centre, as well as the glass corporate switches. Carbon fibre extends to the door cards, as does the Lords Red leather. An Alcantara steering wheel is the finishing touch in what is a wonderful presenting interior. Alongside navigation and a reversing camera, the car also features CarPlay compatibility.
Covering just 8,500 miles from new with only three caring owners, the car presents in a fantastic condition throughout.
